எந்த செயலி(Application)யையும் 'Start->Run' வழியாக திறப்பது எப்படி?

முந்தைய பதிவில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட 'Run' கட்டளைகளை அறிந்தோம். அது சரி... நமக்கு பிடித்தமான அல்லது அடிக்கடி பயன்படுத்தும் மென் செயலிகளை(Application Softwatres) 'Run' வழியாக திறக்குமாறு செய்ய முடியுமா? அதாவது, எந்த ஒரு செயலியையும் 'Windows Start Menu' வழியாகவோ அல்லது அதன் முழு 'Folder' பாதைக்கு செல்லாமலோ திறக்க முடிந்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும் அல்லவா?
இது முடிகின்ற காரியம் தான். எனக்கு தெரிந்து இரு வழிகள் உள்ளன.
வழி 1 - 'Environment Varibles -- Path'-ல் நமக்கு பிடித்த செயலியின் முழு 'Folder' பாதையை சேர்ப்பது.
வழி 2 - ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரியில் ஒரு சின்ன மாற்றம் செய்வது।


உதாரணத்திற்கு "MyApp।exe" என்ற நமக்கு பிடித்த செயலி ஒன்று 'D:\MyFolder\Tools' பாதையில் இருக்கிறது. இதை எப்படி 'Start->Run' வழியாக திறக்குமாறு செய்ய முடியும் என பார்க்கலாம்.

வழி 1 - 'Environment Varibles -- Path'-ல் 'Folder' பாதையை சேர்ப்பது.

1. செயலியின் முழு 'Folder' பாதையை சேர்ப்பது। 'மை கம்ப்யூட்டர்' ஐகானை ரைட் க்ளிக் செய்து 'Properties'-ஐ தெரிவு செய்தால் 'System Properties' dialog திறக்கும்.

2.இதில் 'Advanced' tab சென்று, கீழே இருக்கும் 'Environment Variables' பட்டனை க்ளிக்கினால் ''Environment Variables' பெயரில் புது dialog தோன்றும

(பார்க்க படம்).


3.இதில் இரண்டாவது பகுதியாக இருக்கும் 'System Variables' section-ல் 'Path' என்று உள்ள Variable-ஐ டபுள் க்ளிக் செய்யவும்।இப்போது வரும் 'dialog'-ல் பல 'folder' பாதைகள் சேர்க்கபட்டிருப்பதை காணலாம்.

4.இதில் இறுதியாக ஒரு அரை புள்ளி ';' (semi colon) வைத்த பின் உங்களுடைய செயலி இருக்கும் folder பாதையை சேர்க்கவும்.

இப்போது நீங்கள் உங்கள் செயலியின் பெயரை 'Start-->Run'-ல் டைப் செய்து ஓகே கொடுத்தால் உங்கள் செயலி திறந்து கொள்ளும்.

மேற்கூறிய வழியை பின்பற்ற நினைத்தால் ஒரு சின்ன டிப்ஸ்...உங்களுக்கு பிடித்த சிறு மென் செயலிகளின் '.exe' அனைத்தையும் ஒரே பாதையில் போட்டு விட்டு, பின் அந்த பாதையை மேற்சொன்னவாறு ''Environment Variables - Path'-ல் சேர்க்கலாம்.

அடுத்த வழி - ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரியில் மாற்றம்

1.Start->Run -ஐ க்ளிக் செய்து regedit என டைப் செய்யவும்.உங்கள் கணினியின் ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி திறந்து கொள்ளும். இதில் HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths என்ற பாதைக்கு செல்லவும்.

2.'App Paths' ரைட் க்ளிக்கி 'New --> Key' ஒன்றை உருவாக்கவும். அதற்கு உங்கள் செயலியின் '.exe' பெயரை தரவும்.

3.பின் வலது பக்க விண்டோவில் 'Default' என ஒரு Key இருப்பதை காணலாம்.அதை டபுள் க்ளிக்கி நமது செயலியின் முழு பாதையையும்(D:\MyFolder\Tools\MyApp.exe) கொடுத்து விடுங்கள்.
இப்பொது 'Start->Run' சென்று 'MyApp' என டைப்பினால் செயலி திறந்து கொள்ளும்.

ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி ட்வீக் 1 - கணிணியில் ஒரு டிஸ்க் ட்ரைவை மறைய வைப்பது எப்படி?

'My Computer'-ஐ திறந்தால், உங்கள் கணிணியில் உள்ள எல்லா ட்ரைவ்களும்(A: , C: , D: ...) தெரியும். இவற்றுள் ஏதேனும் ஒரு ட்ரைவை மறைக்க என்ன வழி என பார்க்கலாம்.

உதாரணமாக ப்ளாப்பி ட்ரைவ்.
பெரும்பாலும் இன்றைய கணிணிகளில் ப்ளாப்பி ட்ரைவ் என்ற ஒன்று தேவையில்லாதாதாக ஆகி விட்டது.கணிணியில் இருந்து ப்ளாப்பி ட்ரைவை நீக்கிய பிறகும் "Folder View"ல் அதன் ஐகான் தெரியும்.நாம் தெரியாத்தனமாக அதை க்ளிக் செய்து விட்டால் கொஞ்ச நேரம் கழித்து " Please Insert Disk in A;\" என்று ஒரு செய்தி வந்து கடுப்பேற்றும்.

ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி மூலமாக இதை தடுக்க நீங்கள் செய்ய வேன்டியது...

எச்சரிக்கை: ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரியில் கை வைப்பது ஆபத்தானது. ஏதேனும் தவறு நிகழ்ந்தால் கணிணி செயலற்று போக வாய்ப்புகள் அதிகம். எனவே ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரியை backup எடுப்பது, மற்றும் Restore செய்வது எப்படி என்பதை இங்கே சென்று தெரிந்து கொள்ளவும்.

1.Start->Run -ஐ க்ளிக் செய்து regedit என டைப் செய்யவும்.உங்கள் கணினியின் ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி திறந்து கொள்ளும்.

2. இதில் HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer என்ற பாதைக்கு செல்லவும்

3. வலது பக்க விண்டோவில் right click செய்து New->BinaryValue என செலக்ட் செய்யவும்."New Value #1" என்ற புதிய Value ஒன்று உருவாகும்.

4. அதற்கு NoDrives என பெயரிட்டு, பின் அதை டபுள் க்ளிக் செய்து "01 00 00 00" value தரவும்.

இப்போது உங்கள் கணிணியை 'ReStart' செய்து, பின் 'MyComputer' ஐ திறந்து பார்த்தால் உங்கள் ப்ளாப்பி ட்ரைவ் ஐகான்(A:) மறைந்து விட்டதை உணரலாம்.

கணிணியை Restart செய்யாமல் இந்த மாற்றத்தை நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஒரு வழி உள்ளது. TaskManager சென்று Process Tab ஐ க்ளிக்கவும். 'explorer.exe' ஐ Right CLick-->EndProcess செய்யவும்.

மீண்டும் அதை கொண்டு வர TaskManager ல் File Menu ->New Task சென்று explrer.exe என டைப் செய்து ஓகே தரவும். இப்போது 'MyComputer' ஐ பார்த்தால் ப்ளாப்பி ட்ரைவ் ஐகான் (A:) மறைந்து விட்டதை உணரலாம்.
